Anyone want a kitten??? :o
Can't help with the kittens but if she's not a stud cat and you plan to anyway, did you know you can get your cat desexed while she's pregnant? Would save having to find homes for the kittens when there are so many unwanted ones around at this time of year. If that's not an option, please try to get her done as soon as you can after the kittens are born, as soon as they're weaned (and sometimes before) a cat can get pregnant again.

Well aware of that! And just so you know, my SIL gave us the cat and assured us she was spayed - obviously she was not! Very very angry at SIL!!!
Trust me...planing on spaying her BEFORE the kittens are weaned. No it's too late to desex her now. I'm sure there will be plenty of people who wouldn't mind a kitten. No they will NOT be unwanted...even if we have to keep them ourselves (obviously prefer not too)
So anyway...thanks for the lecture but it's not needed.
Sorry, I didn't mean to come across as patronising. I used to work in a vet surgery, and it's just that a LOT of people didn't know you could desex while pregnant, or how quickly they can get pregnant again. Didn't mean to offend :)
Good luck with the babies!
Desexing while pregnant is aborting the kittens and costs more than normal desexing. If Deserama knows the cat is pregnant she is probably pretty far along.
I would love love love a kitten, unfortunately it wouldnt go down well with my DP or my dogs, and im sure your a long way away from me :)
Good Luck finding homes, an add in the paper might do it :)
Yes desexing while pregnant is aborting the kittens:thumbsdown:.
Anyway, I wish I could:(....we're just not allowed pets at our property. Good luck, I'll ask around!

 We had like 30 cats when I was younger, it was insane, but it was funny how they all had their own little personalities... We did start running out of names though so at one point I think we had one with the name number1 and number2 lol

I would LOVE one but hubby said if I get another cat he would have to divorce me..lol.. My nickname is already the crazy cat lady (from the simpsons) but I only have 2 (and a dog, fish, bird, rats) lol.. so sorry I can't help, wish I could though..
one of my cats came from a family who bought their cat off a petshop, was told it was a male, imagine their surpise when the cat came out with kittens!!

Oh I so hear ya!! I'd want to keep all the kittens but it's just too hard!
So how many you got now?
Anyway the kittens haven't been born yet so we have a few weeks before we even know how many there are, and another 6 weeks before they're ready....so plenty of time to think about it for those who can't decide :)

I have one male , DP would leave if I got more cats he had a heart attack when I brought this one home 3 months ago even though I promised I wouldn't get anymore lol I have had to rehome 30 cats before it was hard and was forced to do so but I done it. I had 2 but the other got run over :(

My cat had kitties a about 6 months ago, it was very exciting (she is desexed now :) )
The moment I mentioned she was pregnant I had homes for 3, their was one extra and I put an ad in the paper, and I got so many calls!
But where we live it really isolated and we don't have an RSPCA so kitties are in high demand!!
Good luck with your kitty journey! Your children are going to love watching your cat get bigger, have her babies and watch them grow :goodvibes:
