they do need a cover, and yeah you can boost them either in the nappy or between the nappy and the cover.

thats a hell of a bargain!! you must be very pleased!! where do u live? lol i want a second hand store like that!!

Can you post a photo? There are a number of nappies with a very similar name.

my camera isn't working at the moment but i found this one on ebay and it looks the same just a bit more faded

does that mean mine is waterproofed too?
should i use a booster?

AIO's don't need a cover. If yours is exactly the same as this one then you won't need one.

AIO's also have the boosting attached to them. But you can add more boosting if you wish. If really depends on how long your bub will last in them. I would boost an AIO if I was going out somewhere just so they last a bit longer or of course take spares with you. HTH :)

Ah yes, I've used those. They have a hidden layer of what feels like PVC. Unfortunately the outer layer is cotton, and it's stitched to the inner cotton, so it wicks and leaks like mad under light wetting. Fine without a cover around the house, but I wouldn't put clothes over it for an outing and expect it to hold without wicking.

I found the fit to be very odd on a skinny legged chap, but if yours has chubby legs it may fit a little better. The inner soaker flaps are just plain cotton and fairly thin as far as absorbency goes, but as I would consider it an "at-home" nappy anyway, that's not a big deal.

Best wishes

For sure, these would generally go for a couple or three bucks each :) Not every nappy in the stash has to be perfect lovely absorbent modern cloth!
