Your childrens playroom or bedrooms (wherever their toys are kept)
We have a spare room which is where all their toys are kept, decided today I would clear it all out. I am a bit of a hoarder even like to keep maccas and kfc toys
Well I took the step and cleared it allll out and any broken toys, books etc... and ended up with 5 plastic bags of ****....
God your good! I need to do that too...b4 my DD starts crawling around and going into big brothers room and putting little kinder egg bits and pieces on her mouth!
Good job Kristy!
I try to clear up as often as possible.
We don't have much room - the kids have toys under their beds and a few to play with in the lounge room.
All the discarded toys go in the garage b4 they end up in toy heaven (aka tip)

I clean the boys room out roughly every 3 months and ALWAYS have 1-2 big garbage bag full of toys to give to the salvo's! Its ridiculous!! Not to mention the bags and bags of toys that are now in the games room that I dont want to part with just yet but they dont play with, we are moving house in a few months and I think I'm just going to give them all to the salvo's without even opening them otherwise I'll think 'oh they might use that again one day' lol

Once a year after our Xmas holiday (DD's birthday is duringthat time). She gets a million new toys from the family, so I get rid of all the old stuff.
we keep our toys in the kids room, i am dying to move house so we can have a rumpus room... but no one wants our place so we are stuck here.... anyway back to the question..
umm.. i usually clean her room out every 6 months... but this really only involves finding a place for everything and only throwing away crappy toys (like the maccas ones) i really need to have a good clean up now, but cant bring myself to do it. I can bearly even walk in DD room..i really need more storage..
plus cleaning really means making more mess..
Sometimes I can't bring myself to get rid of some of the kids toys - you know, the ones that people gave them as first presents... I am starting to hate the odds and ends - things that can't go together neatly in toy stacking boxes and things like that. I can handle Lego and things because at least they all belong together. Funny that all that said, we have the weirdest toy collection that really could do with a visit to the Lifeline bin...

I keep their special things, first teddys and hospital things, first rattle etc, just cleared crappy things, you know things from $2.00 shops etc and just pointless stuff. When we moved states earlier this year would you believe we have 10 whole boxes of just TOYS!! That was the most boxes filled for one kind of thing :o
And I still managed to have heaps to clear out today!!
This Xmas they are only getting 3 gifts, 2 from santa and 1 from Mum and Dad

I clean the box in the lounge room out whenever it starts to overflow....which is very couple of weeks...i don't know how we accumulate all this ****! The toys in the bedroom get chucked (donated) whenever Kenzie hasn't played with them for a fair while/loses interest.
we do there rooms every month and if we find little things on the floor we through them out our kids range from 14yrs to 2yrs so we keeped doors closed when the two youngest figered out who to open them we put locks on we have big rule in the house if you dont put it away it gets thrown out i know its tought but i dont wont to find anyone chocking or dead
