There are small chewable vit c tablets or if you buy the Usana tablets (have to buy from website) they are a multi and apparently very good. I have just started DS (21mths) on them and he loves them, thinks they are lollies.

I give my son a multi vitamin (the chewable kind )and he thinks there great too, always asks me for "teddy mumma?" first thing in the morning as they are shaped like teddy bears.

I am also giving him cod liver oil to help build his mucus membranes as he gets asthma symptoms, i just puncture a capsule and give him half the contents in a syringe- he doesnt like the taste so i give him some freshly squeezed pear juice to wash it down!

I think pentavite is the only one for under 2's, its pineapple flavoured and is brilliant. They even give it to all the premmies at hospital so mine have had it since birth :)

My boys have both had pentivite since they were little and I've just started them both on 'Kids smart' an omega 3 supplement. It's supposed to help with memory, learning and behaviour... will let you all know if I see an improvment.

pentavite has a liquid drops for 1-12 yrs :) my ds loves them.
i was getting worried about him not getting enough of the vitamins from food coz he is refusing meals and becomign really fussy. and because he often is sick (he seems to catch everything going around) i think it would help his immune system. his cold is already starting to ease off a bit not sure if its the vitamins or the cold just running its corse.

I've just bought Natures way 'Kids Smart' (omega 3), it smells pretty bad, but both boys get a bit of a kick out of me cutting the fishies tails off and them sucking it's 'guts' out. They say you can chew them or cut the tail off, but it's a pretty thick capsule I don't think they'd want to chew it.
The boys also have pentavite.

thanks for that info :) i think i would have to put into a medicine dropper for ds he has a habit of choking on things when he has them the first time.

The ones I have are in the shape of a fish and I cut the tail of and squirt it in their mouth, it's a liquid, but the capsule is so tough I really don't know how they could say it's chewable!
I think I paid about #13 or $15 for 50 caps. From Woolies.
