A friend of mine said that when you have c section for the delivery of your baby, that they can also take out eggs? Is this true?

No No No

Correct you do not ovulate while pregnant.

To have an egg pickup you need the overies stimulated to produce eggs, can't do this while pregnant or breast feeding. All the wrong hormones

The aim of a c section is to get in to the uterus get the baby and get out.

Thats what I thought, but a friend had said they can get the eggs "while they are in there"

thought that it sounded to easy..

I want to donate after i have had my 3 kids. I am 20 weeks into bub no2 and hope to pg again when DS2 is 8-10 months.

Then I would love to be a donor.

It's an amazing gift, and there are so many amazing parents to be out there.

Hi Sara. Well it is a wonderful thing that you are wanting to do. You are young enough that you can wait until your third child is born. I am 30 and will hopefully be donating for the first time soon. There is a fair amount of information to be found right here on bubhub or you can go the AED website-

Best of luck with your current pregnancy!

Take care, Peta

Hey Sara

That's so lovely of you to think of donating before you've even finished your family - it's amazing how many donors make that decision while they're pregnant or still breastfeeding etc - wonder how much the gentle hormones have to do with it!!

Good luck with your pregnancy, with bubba number three, and hey, you have got this huge window of opportunity to learn all there is - and don't stop asking questions.

Love

Cindy
