HELP ME PLZ HUBBERS.
Ok so i now have 16 days to go until my elective c-section. ( no im not counting LOL).
Hubby and i have decided on daughters first name and finally the spellin. we are now fighting over the middle name.
Heres some back ground info.
We have a 5.5yo son whom has my father inlaws name as his middle name.
I have always wanted Tayla Jayne if i had a girl but my hubby's sister has a girl named Tayla so that ones out.
I thought we had decided on Hailee Anne for our daughter but now hubby wants to change it to Hailee Jayde coz it similar o Tayla Jayne.
I want Hailee Anne so then our daughter has my mums name as her middle name like son has father inlaws name as middle name.
hubby is dead against it now coz when we named our son his father had died and it was in his honour we did it apparently. My mums not dead so why does daughter need her name apparently.
IM READY TO SAY STICK THE NAME AND NAME HER WHAT EVER YOU WANT I REALLY DONT CARE.
it hurts to hear him say mums not dead so why use it.
Am i bein over reactive or do i have a point in wanting my daughter with my mums name in it?
Is there some way you think i could include Anne and Jayde if it had to come to that?
HELP.

Thats just a bit rude, your mother does not need to have died to be honoured. Why not honour your mother by using her name as your daughters middle name so she can appreciate it while she is alive.
It's only fair, if his fathers name was used in the choice of your first child then you can put your foot down on using your mothers name in the choice for your second child.

Ouch that's a little bit harsh!! Naming someone in honour of a family member is an honour whether they are dead or alive.
Our son who is due in January will have my father's middle name as his middle name - and my Dad is alive and kicking!
Besides, Anne is such a lovely name, too. I like Jade but hate it spelled Jayde. Firstly, it reminds me of Jayden which is a boy's name. Secondly, it's just not necessary to stick the `y' in there. Pet hate of mine :o

I forgot to mention DD's middle name is after my grandmother, her great grandmother, who is still alive and kicking.
I say go with Anne!

THANK YOU ALL
At least now i know its just not me over reacting and that im correct in thinkin the way i am.
An honour is an honour dead or alive.
Oh god, if my husband had said that..
If I was you I'd have been like "look, not ONLY did our son get your fathers middle name, but I'm the one having these kids, and you're not the one going through the agonizing pain of child-birth!"
You have EVERY right to use your mothers name as a middle name for your daughter!
And not to mention, Anne goes very well with your daughters name. It sounds very pretty.
Stick with Anne.

GBaby im surprised you couldnt hear me yellin and freakinout when he said what he did about her not bein dead so why use it.
To put it nicely i wasnt impressed at all. i swear my neighbours and the rest of the street could hear me.
At my ante natal appointment today the doctor asked if we had a name picked out i jumped right in and said " yeah we do it's Hailee Anne" hubby never said a word bout the name and hasnt mentioned it since we got home so fingers crossed thats the end of that.

Maybe Hailee-Jayde (as in hyphenated) Anne - 2 of the 3 of my nieces have hyphenated 1st names and then small nice middle names and the other 1 has a short 1st name and a long (or hyphenated) middle name.
I have a hyphenated middle name (Sharni-Jade) so maybe Hailee Anne-Jayde .......
Dont back down you already have to choose away from the name you truely wanted!! And as a point you can say sadly death is a part of like and unfortunately people do die and life never has an expiry date so although you mum has not died she will one day!!
Before it turns into a 100 page essay, i have to say all the girls names are sooo pretty!!!
