Hi All,

EJ has a runny nose and my BF went to the chemist and came back with Otrivin nasal spray for her (I usually use a infact allergy med from my local chemist which has different drugs and I know she's ok with it). After looking up Otrivin on the net - I'm pretty wary of giving her this type of spray cause of this link (http://www.docguide.com/news/content.nsf/news/8525697700573E18852570AC004C79E4 )

The thing with the spray also is the dose is the same for a 6mth old as a 6yo...

So basically my BF is annoyed cause I wont use it on her. What do others think would you use it on a 8mth old?

I probably wouldn't...have a look on the box because one of them I know you cannot use during pregnancy, but I can't remember which one..If you can't use it during pregnancy, I would be wary of using it on a child under 1yr. You can get Otrivin junior though..

Thanks KM - My Bf is going to return it tomorrow.

This is a junior one i think cause it's from 6mth up the dose is the same for a 6mth old as a 6yo though which is a hell of a size and weight difference :/
