The first cycle on Vitex I took 2 tablets every morning - first thing. It shortened my cycle and relieved the shocking cramps and pains that I normally experienced.

I have never taken Elevit, because I already take folate and a multi vitamin daily. I dont think I need anymore. Maybe when I fall pregnant I may take it as well, but for the time being I'm happy to be popping my 3 pills daily (folate, vitex & multi-vitamin)

Hi - I am pretty sure they can be taken together. But like tara-jane - Vitex made my cycle longer not shorter. Good luck :)
