 Hi I'm hoping someone could help me. My son is 22 mths old and has always been big for his age. My problem is that we have started to try get him into the toilet training idea but he just isn't ready. This has caused problems as he no longer firts in the largest sized huggies available and no other nappies i have tried will make it throught the night. We have to change his sheets every day and have a pair of pjs for every day too. Can anyone help me with their experiences or where to get some suitable nappies

Hi :)

Not sure if you would have looked, but have you tried the 'pull-ups' and other such products for the toilet training?

Or looked at cloth nappies?

Hi i dont know if you are near an Aldi store but their nappies "mamia" brand seem bigger than huggies to me. They also do a pull up style. These are great nappies and good value too.

My son is large too and i find these nappies better than huggies.

Good luck

I know this sounds weird but a friend of mine had a huge daughter, she was 2 and about the size of a 5-6 year old and over 30kg. She found that she grew out of nappies fast and the only thing we could get to fit her daughter comfortably was.............Ladies Tena underpants, yes no joke this is what we had to put her in, not sure if this would help you or not & I don't know what the cost would be either

You could try using cloth nappies.

Some of the WAHM's out there make pocket nappies in large sizes, they may even make to fit your son. try

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your suggestions. I actually found that Safeway/Woolworths sell Bebes nappy mates, which are similar to feminie pads, but you place them in the nappy to give extra absorbancy. Work a treat.
