I was thinking about an old friend today that I lost contact with. I wonder on and off about how her life turned out. We were best friends when we were 12 and then her family moved to Coffs Harbour. We used to write to each other all the time but then lost contact for a year. She sent me a letter saying her step dad had left her mum and she was really angry but didn't go into details. I never heard from her again (I wrote a letter back but they probably moved) and because of her last letter is why I always wonder about her.
I don't know what school she went to or anything like that (I no longer have all the old letters, if I did I'd be able to find the school) and I've done all the usual searches online but can't find her.
If anyone went to school in Coffs Harbour (moved there towards the end of year 6) with a girl called Leanne F**** (or G****** as a last name, she constantly switched between the two) could you pm me. Her mum's name was Gail G***** , her step dad's name was Chris (not sure of his last name, they all went by G*****, which was her mum's maiden name, F**** was Leanne's real dad's name) She had three older siblings (I never met them and can't remember if they were all sister's or what...I think it was 2 older sister's and one brother) and had 6 step brothers and sisters (not all of them lived in the house). I know that her old half sister Rachel and older half brother Adrian lived with them and I'm pretty sure her younger half sister Corrine moved to Coff's with them as well.
We were 14 when she wrote to tell me that her step dad left her mum. We were in year 9, it was 1997. She moved to coff's in 1994. Her birthday is the 2nd August (I think it was the 2nd!) and she'll be turning 24 this August.
They used to have chickens and a Galah that used to swear at you and tell you where to go when you went to the house.
