I've noticed today that DD seems to be constantly making this strange gargling noise, is that normal?

My DS is also doing this!
He is almost 4 months. When he gets a bit of spit in his mouth, or some milk he makes the noise, then smiles about it. I think it's a new trick he has learnt and I wouldnt be worried about your DD doing it!:sunshine:

Very normal. Its their version of talking.

Once they start, they dont stop!

She did it for like an hour this afternoon instead of going to sleep :hair: I got so fed up I left her in her cot and went downstairs, 15 minutes later she was fast asleep, thank god.

I do the same, both girls would rather lay in bed & talk than sleep. Ds yells at them, rolls over & goes to sleep.

Wait til they start screeching :) but not in a crying upset way, just because they can.

Oh dear, that's DD!

DD favoured raspberries over gargles for a while there... now raspberries are more for frustration/upset which is quite funny!

Hehe funny - DD didn't gargle, I wish she would have! On the day she turned four months old she discovered how to blow rasperries, and hasn't stopped yet. I never could believe how much spit could come out of one child. :D

ha ha my DD doesnt stop now. She now blows rasberries whilst shes eating (very messy!!) I often find that she talks herself to sleep shell talk in the car, and Ill stop to take her out and shes dropped off to sleep... very cute. :p
