Hi all,
Is anyone else experiencing cramps? I am 6 weeks and every cramp I get I have a panic attack that something is wrong and constantly checking the toilet paper. I wish I could just stop worrying (first time mum)
Also, is it safe to take panadol in early pregnancy?

I have been having the same problem as you, its horrible isn't it:(
I have always been told panadol is fine by both my gp and chemist, but if in doubt check with either one and I'm sure they can give you an answer.
Hope your cramps die down soon!

Thanks Ashlee87 :) Not a nice feeling at all but apparently its the uterus expanding and moving around.
I googled the panadol and yes, like you say it seems fine. We can't take anything stronger though.
Thank for the reply :D

You can take Panadeine. But if its not necessary than I wouldn't do it.
I've been on Panadeine Forte since I was 4 weeks pregnant, its a category A in pregnancy. A is the safest whereas C is the less safest.
I am 6 weeks pregnant and have been having intermitent severe cramps for past week - especially at night. Last night I had pink spotting and this morning it was brown. I am getting concerned. I know it is normal to have cramping in early pregnancy, however are they meant to be severe?

I had it too at around 6 weeks. It seems to be quite common. I went to the hospital to get myself checked out and it was all fine. The spotting and brown blood can be old menstrual blood being pushed out by the fetal sac...
