Hey all

I did mine and dp's tax on the same day, he got his put into the bank yesterday, and there is no sight of mine. Shouldn't they have came at the same time seeming I did them together? Or is it because I get family tax is that why it's taking longer? Does anyone know? I'm just worried I didn't do mine properly or something.....:confused:

it can take longer when centrelink is involved. even longer when it is child support too. thankfully next year we should ge to keep dh's cheque and not his ex and the debt will be nearly paid out with this refund and should be finished before christmas.

My Dh and I always do our tax returns at the same time and never have we received our returns at the same time :no: I wouldn't worry about it just yet :D

Thanks guys!!! I just thought they'd come at the same time I guess, well they said two weeks to get them, theres 2 days left so hopefully mine will get here by the weekend.

I did my etax on July 3, and haven't heard anything at all. I thought it said that it would go into my account with 14 days, but nothing so far..... I might give them a call and check.

PLUS, my husband's employer still has not sent out his Group Cert, and they are notorious for not sending them until the very latest. GRRRRRR!!!!! I just want to pay the bills!!!!

As far as I know you wont recieve anything until your partner does his tax because of the family tax, they need his income too. I think thats how it works. Thats why I did mine and dp's at the same time with etax. I know what you mean about how u want to pay bills, thats why Im in a hurry to get mine too.

It's just the luck of the draw that he got his first - each return is processed in it's own right - does that make sense??

Yours shouldn't be too far behind
