Hi everyone

I am a fourth-year uni student in Perth and I would be eternally grateful if you take a couple of minutes to complete my smoking survey (http://www.smokingsurvey.net), which is part of my uni dissertation investigating how people react to warnings on cigarette packets. Basically you look at a couple of cigarette packets, click a few buttons and hey presto, it's all over. It should only take about three minutes to complete and you can win a $50 voucher to Amazon.com for taking the time to help me out (that's 50 American Dollars, so about $70 Australian). I'm chasing both smokers and non-smokers.

Thanks

Dave

I also completed this on another forum. I gotta say, I found those final questions a bit odd.

Thanks again to everyone that has done this!

The survey closes this Sunday 6th August, so if you would like to participate, you have a few days left to do so.

I was about to go and have a smoke for the first time in 12 months as ive been down and stressed and that turned me off it. I was meant to see that post to stop me from surcoming to the temptation.

I dont want to start again and im going to try very hard but i dont know how well im going to do.

That's great!

There's now a summary up at http://www.smokingsurvey.net (http://www.smokingsurvey.net/) explaining how the survey worked.

There was actually two surveys on the go - one with the old text warnings, and one with the new graphic warnings.
