i was on the patches for now the last 2 months they dont work after a time and they leave marks on the places you put them . i have to give up and i will try untill i do . as i have bad asthma so my health has to be right i feel will not be able to do ivf . thankyou all for reading this.

My husband and I both smoked during our first 3 ivf cycles, although not heavily. He smoked maybe 3 or 4 a day. I smoked maybe 3 or 4 on the weekends and maybe a few more after each failed attempt.
After our 3rd BFN we had an appointment with our ivf dr and he said the very WORST thing we could do was to smoke. We both stopped in Jan this year. We have had one BFN since then and are waiting to start number 5.
I guess you could say I have tried it all-the smoking,not smoking, the drinking, not drinking. But you have to do what you feel what is good for you and ask yourself if you are doing all you can. Not smoking feels fantastic even though my DH went through some pretty hard times ( and me:banghead: ) to give up previously. This time it took the dr to really get it through to him. He is better to kiss too!
