anyone?
HUGS, like many syndromes that isnt one I have heard of I just googled it and from what i read its a disease of the eyes it that what your DD has.
Thyroid isues I dont know a great deal about i know DD was tested for thyroid disorders when she was first reveiwed by the endocrine team but i know her thyroid was fine but her endorine issues was that she didnt produce groowth hormone.
Is your DD under a good opthimologist and endocrinologist, If you are in perth I know both the opthimology team and Endo teams are great we see anyone from either team with DD as I have found them all to be fantastic.
Sory I dont know anything about your DDs syndrome have you looked on yahoo to see if there is a suport group on there as they sometimes are for difernt syndrome same as on facebook beleive it or not. I know what its like to have a child with a syndrome that no one has heard of oor has any info on DD had an undiagnosed syndrome for 3 years and has this year been clynicaly diagnosed with Russel Silver syndrome and possibly Oral facial digatal syndrome.

Thanks for the info Amy! We are in melbourne, though. Will check out some support group avenues.
The browns syndrome is a worry, we are told just to watch and wait & see the opthomologist (sp) again in 3 months.
In my googling I found one of the causes of browns to be thyroid disease...just about every second person in my family has over-active thyroid...The list of symptoms was accurate description of my daughter. Gonna get it checked out asap.
Must be somewhat of a relief for you to be finally getting some answers on your dd's condition.
Thanks for the reply :)
