Feedback on using cloth

Howdy,

I am wanting to gather some information about the benefits of using cloth pads - obviously there is the environmental factor and also the cost factor but I'm really keen to hear other reasons why you will never go back to disposable pads.

I am in the midst of writing up an article about the benefits of cloth nappies and really want to get the word out about cloth pads as well as it is much more unknown than nappies.

First of all they are so soft and comfy, you dont even know they are there. I wear one daily as a liner. And the prints and colours are all pretty cool too.

Apart from the benefits to the environment, the fact that my periods have completely changed means I will NEVER go back to disposable. My last period was the first time I have not had any cramps, I didn't need strong pain medication and I didn't need a heat pack. I have had my period for about 20 years and once I started using cloth it changed from heavy bleeding for a week with crippling pain to light bleeding for about 3 days with very little pain :smiliedance:
