HHHHHEEEEEELLLLLPPPPPPP!
DS has broken out in a weird looking rash and i cant into see doctor till next monday and my child health nurse is off sick!
the rash started off as little red pimply things which i assumed was just a dribbling rash (he dribbles soooo much! upto 15 bibs a day!) so i started putting pawpaw ointment on it and it got better. but its back again and BRIGHT RED! its also moving onto his chest.
no new foods have been inroduced and he has always been bathed in QV bath oil and i give him a baby massage morning and night with QV moisteriser.
it doesnt seem to bother him at all....my mum said its probally due to him having so much trouble with his teethe so his saliva would be acidy???
i just danno... it looks so sore!
can anyone help?

it could most likely be a viral rash, sometimes instead, or aswell as, getting sick they get a viral rash, my DD had one all over her body and there was nothing we could do but watch and wait!
its very hard though!
Is it not bothereing him at all, does he have a temp or seem drowsy??
Il go find a link to a pic of my DD and you can see if its similar, fingers crossed thats all it is!
i hope these links work, there not the best shots, but you should be able to see if they are similar

Find another Dr and take him in today, just to be safe.
A rash always means something, get it checked out asap.

i just realised i didnt add what rm did, I meant to say the same thing when I edited my post!
Do get it checked out as soon as possible!!, even if it ends up to be nothing to worry about! even if you have to go up to your hospital and wait in emergency, they usually give preferance too babies aswell, better to be safe then sorry!
Good luck!

Take him down to the chemist and ask the pharmacist to check him out. My pharmacist has diagnosed my kids for a few things when I've been unable to get in to see a Dr. Is it blistery looking at all?

hi thanks for the replys! and the pics! cant see another doctor cos i live in a small town so its always a week waiting list! sux! i doesnt like like your bubbas rash... its more just tiny red spots... like pimples but smaller. and its under his chin in his little fat rolls lol. i put some more pawpaw cream on it and i looks like its clearing up again. :smiliedance:
any suggestions on how to stop the dribbling???:fingerscrossed:
when will he grow our of the dribbling???
We had our DS2 have a similar problem it lasted for over a month and there was nothing we could do for it. I would still go and see your doctor when you can, but DS2's was viral so they couldn't do anything for it, just wait it out.
As for the dribbling, just wait till he stops teething. My 3 year old still gets the dribbles, he's getting his last couple of molars now.
