Bum genius leaking- heavy wetter help?

Aaaah, my bumgenius 3s are leaking out the legs after about 1 hour. So I stripped them for detergent build up and still doing it. I use both the insert and the newborn insert and still leaking. DD is 18 months and is a big wetter...but this is ridiculous. Not sure what to use intead. Bamboo?
Anyone else had this problem?

There is nothing wrong the the nappy per se, but i would assume it is the microfibe insert. most children often even from birth require bamboo or hemp inserts in their nappies.

can you stuff the nappy with a different type of insert to see if it makes any difference?

Prefolds and greenkids inserts fit great in Bumgeniuses!
