20 month old needs to get Tonsils & Adenoids out...

Has anyone else had to have their toddlers Tonsils & adenoids out? is it as bad and scary as it sounds and do you think you have made the right decision? My DDs are so large that she has trouble breathing & not gaining weight & constant runny nose. Thanks so much for your advice.

A friends DS had his out at about the same age, GA knocked him around a little & was fine the next day.

My ds had his adeniods out when he was three.

He went home about 6 hrs later and he was fine:)
