hello,

just wondering of anyone has done any study with Australian Institute of Community Services (AICS) and if so what did you think?

I am thinking of doing Early Childhood and/or Dip of Community Services - Financial Services

They seem a little on the expensive side, though they offer it all externally and at your own time.

How does this compare to TAFE?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

hi,

I have a friend who is studying counselling through AIPC which is part of AICS. If you look up the national training website it shows that they are the same company.

She is in regional WA and finds them quite good. She's hoping to go on and do the degree with them once she's finished her diploma.

As for cost, if you are eligible for government funding then it may seem a bit much, however, if you had to go and pay full fee for service costs then it is cheaper. My friend just got back from one of the seminars that they run, but i've not yet heard how it all went.
