Hi all..just after some advice...
I know that some recommend that we dont sterlise bottles anymore however i want to.. thats not the issue. The issue is DS2 is going to daycare and they have their own steam steriliser. How do i permanently name his bottles. Labels are out as it will release adhesive during the process. How about permanent marker? Are there other options?
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Permanent marking will come off as well. Best option would be to scratch his initials into the bottom of the bottle where it is the thickest.

I'm interested to know how others label their baby bottles as well. My DD#2 starts childcare early next year, she'll be about 7 months old so will still be having formula each day in bottles that I put through a steam steriliser. I have purchased vinyl name labels and while these are microwave/dishwasher safe I doubt they are safe in the steam steriliser due to the toxins/adhesive that would be released at high temps. I didn't have this problem with DD#1 started childcare as she was a little older and was drinking formula from a sippy cup that was no longer needed to be sterilised.

i called artline and they mentioned their markers are non toxic so should be fine with steam sterilising however if daycare puts bottles in dishwasher and steam sterilise might have to top up the marking as it will fade..
TripleTime I like your idea of engraving..might give it a try instead

Try a laundry marker. That's what I use. It's not exactly permanent as it does fade off but it lasts a while.
