I seem to be putting the same old thing in DS lunch box - the usual... sandwiches..yogurt, fruit bars etc. he's not a big fruit lover at all so i struggle really with that...i have tried and failed

What do you put in, any new suggestions would be very welcome:thumbsup:

You said he doesn't like fruit...would he eat like little fruit snack things - you know, like goulborn valley diced fruit??

What about dry biccies with a bit of cheese on them? (well considering its winter the cheese wouldnt go yucky)

Hmmm...I'm trying to think healthy...how about things like carrot sticks...some dip?

A little container of custard? Musli bars...

Not sure sorry! Thats a few though...

I try to use a variety of things:

Little fruit muffins (I make them with fresh apple or banana etc in them)
pasta salad with corn and tuna
rice crackers with cheese
yoghurt
sultanas
unsalted popcorn
Easy to eat fruit - strawberries, grapes or cubed rockmelon

Thanks cintaX

He is anti fruit!, tried all sorts, making my own smooties for him etc where as dd eats all the fruit in the world she's great.

Tried the cheese, he does not like the cheese and crackers

so its :banghead: so really im stummped, he only likes chicken, not ham etc....geese he really is so fussy and thats why i find it so fustrating as dd will eat anything...

And rynosmum 2, yes i will try the pasta even though he will have to eat it cold, but its worth a try and popcorn, yeah thats great i will try that 2...and i will give the muffins a go 2,

Thankyou

Just some more suggestions - does he eat dried fruit and does he like nuts?

Maybe try a basic trail mix - add a few chocolate chips to add some interest.
Does he like berries? Maybe in Summer some strawberries/cherries.

I think with food it has to be fun.
