They happen more often than people actually realise.
I am 23 and in the past 12months have had 3 m/c. I had my first at 17 when I got pregnant to DD's father. I had DD at 18 and then I had a m/c when DD was 16months old.
My sister is 26 and she just recently had her first m/c at 9.5weeks. My aunty had a few m/c over the years. My mum never had any.
I have not been given a reason why it happens. I am healthy and a normal weight range. Who knows.
But all i know is it SUCKS!!!
I am sorry to read of your loss. I really hope you will be ok.

Guess it is quite morbid to dicuss would love to know of all the positive pregnancies tooo!
it is quite common for women to MC about 1 in every 4 women. Sometimes there is a reason for it (medically) other times there are no reasons as to why it happens.
In my case i have had 3 MC and 1 eptopic all unexplained and no reason no one in my family had ever MC. I had a tube removed after my EP so went to IVF and now i have a gorgeous 19mth old and i'm 27wks pregnant. I can fall pregnant naturally no worries but for some reason i can't carry them unless i am doing IVF.

They are very common, more so than people realise.
I have had 3 and also have a DD and am 20 weeks pregnant now.
I am healthy and there is no real explanation, just unlucky i guess.

I really dont know why they happen, i have two kids, then i had an ectopic where i lost my left tube and i am now 19 wks pg- natural conception. I didn't have a blocked tube or scarring or anything so goodness why it happened - just unlucky i guess. I'm sorry you had to go thru it - i wouldnt wish it on anyone.

I think they are very common, this year I had a m/c in March, a Molar Pregnancy in June and an Ectopic in September.
I think they do happen for a reason sometimes, in my case, I dont think we were ready and we had alot of issues to sort out. Just my opinion.

Hi
I had a mc at the age of 18 before my DD who is now nearly 5. I was also given no explanation except "it was probably for the best because sometimes our bodies just know what's best". Not very comforting I know. A year later I tried again and was successful with DD. We will be TTC again soon but the thought of a mc still worries me. Nobody should have to go through loss
sticky :babydust2: for all TTC and for those who are pg already
