Hi:wave: bub hubbers in my area, i've put in a post about this before but it never got up and running. I was wandering if anyone on north side of brisbane manily around my area would be interested in a walking group. On the weekend my hubby to be brought us a lovely surprise a pure breed golden labrador puppy and i would like to start getting fit and going for walks again with other mums. If you don't have a dog thats alright. you can reply to thread or pm me and we'll set up day and time that will suit us best thanks. Alison:smiliedance:

Hi Allison,
I'm also trying to get a walking group going. I am trying to get fit and shed some of that baby weight. A friend and i go walking occasionally but i would like to make it a regular thing. I live in Caboolture but i would be up for travelling down your way or maybe meeting in a central point and going for walks around a park or something. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Hey girls,
It will be fantastic if we can all arrange to go walking together...I'm really looking forward to it and am in desperate need of some exercise. Does anyone have ideas on where we could go walking? Tinyocean, i see you live on or near Bribie...It's lovely over there so maybe we could all meet over there and go for a walk by the water and finish off with some fish & chips on the beach? Yeah i know, somebody slap me, eating fish & chips would totally defeat the purpose of exercising.;) But anyway, let me know what you all think.

Hi fellow mamas.
I'm in Stafford and my friend and I go for walks around the area once or twice a week with our LO's and puppy dog. Would be interested but only available Monday's and Wednesdays, if anyone is keen or has ideas pm me. Have been exercising for a couple of weeks and with some healthy meal choices, I'm getting fit and toned again and loving it! Every little bit helps alot!

Sounds good. Maybe we could start off there and maybe alternate where we walk (depending on where everybody is located) each time. but bribie is noice...:) there is also redcliffe to consider ...

I would love to come along for a walk with you gals.
I can't go all the way out to Bribi (I know it's lovely though) but Redclif is fine for me to drive to.
I love the walk along the beach pool area there.
If a walk has been organised can I have a pm of the details? ta.

Hi
I live at Narangba too, would love to go for walks once a week. We also have a Golden Lab. He is 4 years old and out of the puppy distruction mode Thank God. We only moved her 4 months ago so meeting people in area would be great. Let me know when and where Mondays, Tuesdays I can't do.
Thanks:smiliedance:

Hi - have you organised to walk anywhere?
Please PM me details if you have.
Another great place to walk is along Brighton, Sandgate, Shorncliffe waterfront. Well-kept paths, no roads to cross, can be short or long walk.
I try and walk every Thursday morning through Eatons Hill once I drop DS at preschool if anyone is in that area?

Ok. I'll bite the bullet and make the plans for a northside mums walking group.
How about Tuesday 9 October 9.30/10am along Sandgate foreshore. PM me for exact meeting point.
Look forward to hearing from some mums keen for exercise.
