Hameoglobin count - little low during 8 month pregnancy

Hi all,
My wife is on iron tablet supplement, and is now 8 months pregnant. Her recent results for hemoglobin count was: 11.7 g%, where as the normal reference range is 12-16 g%.
Is this a cause for concern? Would there be a impact on her health or the baby's health?

As long as she continues taking the suppliments she should be fine. The same thing happens to me when I get pregnant. I always end up with Anemia. AND I still forget to take my tablets sometimes. :p

If she's still showing symptoms of Anemia whilst taking the tablets take her back to her Dr. It might take a few days for the pills to take effect. As long as she's getting enough iron to keep her and baby healthy all will be fine. :yes:
