Trade City live for stress-free? HELP?!

Hubby and I are considering leaving inner city north Brisbane to move 2 or so hours out of Brissie for a more relaxed atmosphere - and a smaller mortgage.

We'd love to be near water (within 30 minutes) and a nice quite place.

I spent my summers as a kid at the Sunshine Coast but we don't really know the prices anywhere.

Who lives a little outside the hustle and bustle of Brissie?>
Where would you reccommend? We'd love to be able to get a 3 bedroom place for around or less than 250k and ditch our 300k+ mortgage.

Advice please?!

i live at the sunshine coast:yes::yes: i love it here but it is getting quite busy these days (i mean not compared to brissy) but compared to what it used to be.

not sure about getting a house under 250,000 though i know rent prices etc have gone up alot here lately but i guess it depends on suburbs:)

Thanks for your reply! We're starting to think the only moving to Morayfield and spending just under 300k - we'd be upgrading from a 2 bdr townhouse with no back yard and also be giving up $2800 a year in body corp fees!

So hopefully the small savings will add up for us.
