I have a stash of frozen breastmilk that I use for mixing with DS's veggies and rice cereal, but I have frozen them in 100ml lots, and don't use it all at once.

Once it's defrosted how long is it safe to keep in the fridge and use for?

Thanks!

Mods - putting this here for a quick response, please feel free to move to the breastfeeding section if more appropriate.

This from the ABA:

Previously frozen— thawed in refrigerator but not warmed
At room temp: 4 hours or less (ie the next feeding)
Stored in refrigerator: 24 hours
Do not refreeze

I usually try and make sure my bub drinks hers within 12 hours of being full defrosted in the fridge, because I don't freeze it immediately after expressing (I keep it in the fridge at work until it's time to go home, and that's where I freeze it until it's needed).
