Anyone had food poisoning while pregnant?

Last night I woke up about 4 hours after I had eaten dinner feeling really nauseous.
I didn't throw up and have not had any diarrhea, but today I still feel quite unsettled in the stomach.
I'm thinking it might be a mild case of food poisoning - do I need to call my OB? Anyone had this happen? I don't want to sound like a hypochondriac LOL.

I had food poisoning when pg...no vomiting but major pains in the belly after a 17 hour flight (plane food..mmmm). I didn't go to the doctor. If you start vomiting keep hydrated, if you can't keep water down then you have to go to the hospital.
If you ate something that can have the listeria bacteria then give your OB a call and get checked out.

I ate Barnacle Bills on Friday night (i know, naughty me :shame: ) and I was feeling fine until I went to bed...

I dont think i would have vomited if the lil princess wasnt dancing so much!! but once it was out i was fine and felt fine the next day...

I had a friend who got it really bad and it caused her morning sickness to come back in full force, but she was fine... :yes:

I would call the ob just to be on the safe side.

I got quite severe food poisoning at 25 weeks and it sent me into early labour.

Not trying to freak you out, but i think you should call just incase!

I got food poisoning from Macca's when I was around 18 weeks pregnant, vomited heaps and had the run's it lasted for 2 days. I didnt call my ob or anything, but I mentioned it on my next appointment as it was the same week and he said everything was fine with bub.

my best friend had food poisioning in the 1st trimester not sure what exact week. i remember her telling me about how horrible it was. she had to take some medication for it. and then her morning sickness kicked in on top of that :(
she was looking like death for about a week maybe 2 weeks.
her bub was fine :)

My SIL had servere food poisoning in her last pregnancy, she had to go to hospital and they put her on fluids and medication to stop her being sick, but she and bubs were both fine.
You just need to watch that if you do get ti the vomiting stage don't let it go on for too long before you call the hospital.

It seems to be better today, still a little queasy but nowhere near how it was.
I never vomited and never had any diarrhea after all that.....
I'm thinking it might be third trimester hormones making me nauseous now :(
At least that's better than food poisoning I guess :thumbsdown:

I haven't had FP while pregnant but I did have a bad case of gastro which is just as bad!!

Funny this thread just appeared - my DP has a tummy bug, and I was wondering, if I get it and am throwing up all night (yay) at what point should you call someone? And do you call your local hospital or who (we live in the country - 10mins from the local hospital but my OB and hospital for delivery are 50 mins away!)
