Just wondering if other mummies have gotten tattoos of their kids names?
I'm thinking about getting my daughter's name Lilee tattooed but am not sure where to get it so wanted hear from other mummies on where they decided to put theirs. My husband is going to get her name tattooed on his bicep.
Would love to hear from any other mummies....:ecomcity:

I'm considering it. Have been for a while. I have a few tattoos already so a few more won't hurt!
My DD's name is Poppy so I was just going to get a single Poppy tattooed on the back of my neck. No names or anything. It's been my favourite flower since I was little anyway (which isn't why we called her that, btw) so it would be a pretty tattoo on it's own.
I don't know how I'm going to signify `George' though, for our son when he arrives. LOL!

I've seen two I loved
One mum I know has two daughters and has their names on each shoulder
Another mum had a handprint on the inside of her arm with her daughters name and date of birth
I'm planning to get a tattoo for DD as well but not names, not for me

Thanks everyone, it has made me feel better about getting one now.
I think I'm gonna get it on the back of my neck now as I can choose to hide it or show it off whenever I want.

I want to get both my daughters names done, but I'm just torn about where.
I'm also torn about visibility. I have one tattoo. But I've never actually 'seen' it. It's on the back of my neck, lol.

I am going to get a tattoo of my kids names done when I have finished having children because I want it all done in one go. I haven't decided how I am doing that yet.
My SIL is going to get the initials of her daughters names on her foot which I think is going to look really nice.

I decided to get DD's name tattoed in a really nice script writing on the back of my neck and I'm so happy I did.
It looks great and I got in far enough down that I can hide it if I need to or show it off for all to see. I totally love it and I get loads of compliments on it when people see it.
My husband got the inside of his bicep done with DD's name too. They were our anniversary gifts to each other since she arrived in our 3rd year of marriage, a present we will never ever forget!!

How bout this: http://jm031.k12.sd.us/hm_george_1.gif
I'm hoping to get Noah's handprint tattoed somewhere, probably on my back. I think I'll shrink it though so I can fit all future kids in too :D My dp got noah's name tattoed on the inside of his arm with his date of birth, its quite big so dont know where he thinks he'll fit the rest of the kids haha
I'm considering the inside left wrist too. I'd like both of my DD's names in small script writing. Just wondering how painful it is the the wrist, seems like it might be a really sensitive spot, can anyone who has one there share? I know, I know, I've been through childbirth twice but I had a lovely little thing called an epidural for that!
