Im not sure where to put this so I will put it here!!

My question is Have you or anyone you know fallen pregnant after having their tubes tied.

I keep thinking I may be pregnant (by about 16 weeks!! or so) but havent tested because I ad my tubes tied during a c section with my DD 12 months ago.

Im thinking all the symptoms must be in my head and i dont want to be silly and waste $$ on a test because in theory I cant get pregnant again!

I think you should take a test...

I know at least 2 people who have fallen pregnant even after their tubes were tied... Just be careful because it can increase chances of ectopic pregnancies...

I hope that everything is alright... But take a test just to be on the safe side... Lots of luck sweety... Whatever you want the outcome to be... :hugs:

thanks :0) if I am that would be great (I already have 5 children) but I kinda feel silly even thinking I could be.
AF hasnt returned even though my DD hasnt been BF for about a month....

Good luck & I hope it all goes the way you want it too... My cousin has a baby from 3 years after she had her tubes done... (the doctor said her son just really wanted to be on earth :D).

If you are 16wks the fundus (top ot uterus) whould be feelable (sorry made up word) just above the pelvic bone. Lay on your back and feel around you should feel a hard bubble that will move side to side when pushed. Good Luck i hope you ge the result you are looking for :)

heehee i think after 5 kids I would ''feel preg'' even if Im not. nothing has ever gone back where it should be!
I think I will wait for another few weeks and if still no AF then I will do a test. I wonder do preg tests still work if you are that far along??

You are right, you know your body better than anyone. Good luck, i dont know how you can wait, im very impatient :laughing:

Hmm good question, i would tink so as they pick up hcg and you have that in your pee even at 16wks :detective:
