portable toddler bed???

sorry if this is in the wrong forum....but I'm looking for ideas. My 2 y/o daughter naps for about 2 hrs each day and it's really hard to organise a whole day out becuase we always have to be back home by 2pm latest for her to sleep. She has never slept in the pram. Therefore, looking for ideas for a portable bedding option to take on picnics to the beach etc. Any help is appreciated....

Phil & Teds have a travel cot thingy that weighs about 2kg and folds up into a small carry bag. We take ours to the beach. Check out their website. The side opens up so its not so confined.
We just work around ds 18 months with his sleep, would rather let him nap then have a horror child :hair:.

I have a Phil & Teds which is extremely light to carry around. There is also one called Kinderkot which is supposed to be really good as well.

do you know what i sometimes use...those fold out kids couches from kmart....cheap and they work!
