I make all my own baby food and freeze it in cubes. Just wondering if you can freeze cooked mince, cooked pasta and cooked rice.

TIA

I used to make tomato bolognese style sauce with minced meat + veg and puree it a little more with a stabbing mixer, let it cool and freeze it all the time.

Im not too sure about pasta but my girl used to love cous cous when she was younger. Its pretty much instant u just add hot water maybe a little of butter and heat it up. I used to like mixing this up with the bolognese sauce.

With chicken mince, I would cut up some chicken breast, fry it on a pan, then I would chop that up even further with a stabbing mixer. I used to freeze portions of this but it ends up really crumbly. Maybe I should have combined it initially with some pumpkin/veg then frozen it rather than having an issue with defrosting it on its own.

Not too sure how you would go with freezing the rice and pasta though. Id sooner do the rice on the spot..doesnt take long. All Ive heard is that rice shouldnt be kept in the refrigerator for too long something to do with food poisoning...Maybe someone has the answer to that when it comes to freezing.
