View Full Version : There's a hole in my nipple dear Liza!
OUCH! My DS bit my nipple the other day so much that there's small gaping hole... It wont heal while he's feeding either, and he keeps biting it!! Man it's like the early days again...
Any suggestions?

hey i have the same problem with my 9mth old atm! he bit me for the 2nd time last week, and now ive got a hole as well that just keeps opening/seems to be getting bigger each time he feeds, and it H U R T S !!!!!
ive been just expressing a little bit at first from that side, then letting him attach, just so it doesnt hurt too much while u have let down.
if it really is agony, completely express from that side, let him have the other side, plus your expressed milk in a cup maybe?
for your boob, try lanisoh cream (simply awesome, it should heal within a couple of days if you are not feeding him from the boob) or even pawpaw ointment
good luck..hope it gets better fast! :hugs:
OWWWWW!!! DD loves a good munch as well...I have healed up pretty quickly..she likes to rip holes in my boobs while I am asleep. Your poor booby....I used a very expensive concoction that was lanolin based after she feeds...but you can buy that Lanolin stuff from the chemist.

Breastmilk and sunshine :-) if you have somewhere to sit topless and get sun on your sore booby, it will heal really quick. Express some milk and bath your sore bit also.

I found the only thing that healed my nipples was paw paw cream (just wipe off before a feed though, doensn't taste very nice ;))
