Can anyone recommend a good swim school for babies on the coast?
We've just started at one swim school- had a fantastic teacher. But for some reason he stopped turning up and the swim school "doesn't know where he's gone- he just stopped turning up". Mysteriously a lot of the loyal families have also stopped turning up. The new teacher is nice and I really like her but it's just not the same.

I take my little man to nerang pool. the lady is lovely and in your first few lessons she really helps you get over your nerves.

Thanks for the suggestions!
We've been going to lessons for 12 months. Loved the teacher we had for the first 3 terms. Then the swim school cancelled some of her lessons. The teacher we had last term was lovely but the lesson we got pushed into wasn't giving my lad any sort of a challenge- they enrolled him in a class with babies nearly a year younger than him and he was repeating the beginner stuff again.
Then we found a teacher we liked only to have him disappear into the sunset.

Hi,
We started at Swim for Life a few months ago and I highly recommend them...they are brilliant..your son is 6mths older than my daughter so he would be in the same programme...lessons are one on one for 15mins..you dont need to get into the pool..my daughter swims with Gary...but the girls there are fantastic too...we are in Ormeau and its worth the drive once a week to Broadbeach Waters...its quite intensive even though its only 15mins a lesson...

I might give them a call. One of the other mums ran into the swimming teacher who disappered. All he said was he was driving to work one day and he got a bad vibe. Shame really.
