Fertility Specialist in Perth

Hi ladies

Can anyone recommend a good specialist in Perth?

I live in a major town in country WA & we only have one gyno & after faxing the referral to her rooms 8 days ago & leaving a message I still have had no response to make an appointment :no: I appreciate she is busy but ...... man you'd think we were out in woop woop with a lack of decent services :hair:

Anyhoo, any recommendations would be great.
I tried Catherine Harris & Susan Isdale but they are pg specialists now & Margot Norman is not available until the new year.

Not sure if this will assist you or not....

My FS was Dr Robert Mazzucchelli at Concept Fertility (and his practice is behind KEMH). I have also heard nothing but good reports about Dr Linda Wong at Concept - she did one of my FET and has a lovely manner.

If you go to their website, they have a staff page and the specialists and their numbers...you will need a referral though from your GP. Good luck!

I was going to mention Margo Norman.......Vince chappel also works out of Fertility North and they are fantastic.......alot of women leave their other clinics to change to this one.......Hope onto "Calling all perth girls" - IVF.........their are a few on there from different clinics so they can give you the low down on specialists........good luck!

So very helpful & I will definately look into these.

I do have a referral & have had various BT's this week & DH is due to do his sperm sample too.

Maisy - ta for mentioning vince chappel, the receptionist mentioned him too. I must say I do feel a bit funny about going to a guy as I have only ever seen women for all my women's health stuff.
BUT thinking about it more today I think that as I want to get the ball rolling sooner rather than later I really should NOT be fussy. :p

I'm going to see if I hear from the local by next Wed & if not I will ring Perth - I think 2 weeks is more than enough time to wait just to make the darn appointment!!
