I have a question that I'm a little embarrassed to ask. I realise that the PUL, polar fleece and woolen covers are best for baby's botty but we're on a pretty tight budget and I won't be able to afford to set up all the nappys AND covers at the same time. I don't want to use the nasty plastic pilchers again (gave DS nasty nappy rash along with other factors).
What are people's honest opinions on the fluffies covers? I noticed in Kmart the other day that they have terry towelling pilchers that have an insert of foam down the centre. Do you think these would be acceptable in the short term? What about the old fashioned fluffies 'fluffy' pilchers? What are they like? My Mum is going to knit me some woolen pilchers and I'm going to try my hand at sewing some polar fleece and woolen ones also and I will be eventually building up a supply of decent covers and will obviously start off with decent ones for overnight anyway but I just wanted to know if these fluffies ones would be okay to use or just a complete waste of time and money.
