Hi Ladies,
Just wondering if any one has any thoughts on what may be happening regarding my monthly cycle. For the last 3 months since my period returned after stopping breastfeeding I have ovulated around day 14. I have a 28 day cycle give or take a day. My BBT temps for the last 2 months have been similar ranging from 36.28-36.44 pre ovulation, and then from 36.55-36.68 after ovulation. I have also had positive opks a couple of days before ovulation is due. I have had some Cervical mucus but I normally have to check internally to find it. My periods are pretty standard having spotting for 1 day, moderate to heavy for 1 day and then light/spotting for 3 days This month however my period arrived 1 day early, and it was so heavy that I continually had to change pads/tampons. There was no initial spotting, I just woke up and it was like turning on a tap. It was heavy for 3 days and moderate for 2. I also had clots in it which is not normal for me. I went to the doctor and she sent me for a pelvic ultra sound which all came back normal. I am now on CD14 and have had cloudy egg white mucus in an abundance for the last 5 days but my cervix has not risen and all the OPK's are negative. I should be due to ovulate today. Also I might add just before my period was due I had a throat infection. I took some antibiotics. I am fine now apart from a mild hoarsy throat. My husband, our 13 month old son, and myself also came down with gastro on CD10 and that lasted till CD12 (too many illnesses this month). My question is what could be up with my cycle? I am not sure why I am getting an abundance of cervical fluid but no ovulation and why my temps are all over the place. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. :)
