Hi all
I am new here so thought should introduce myself.
My name is Farheen and i live on the Gold Coast, QLD
Ive been LTTC now, its been 5 yrs 3 mnths & 7 days but who's counting!

I am 33 DH is 32 and we have (i have?) unexplained infertility (someone really needs to explain that one to me !)
everythings fine with DH and his swimmers and all my hormones and tubes etc are fine

In dec 08 i had a non tubal ectopic
in Jan 09 we tried IVF in bahrain as we had been living abroad for the past 4 yrs --BFN
in mar and april 09 i had chemical pregnancies which wasnt nice

anyway we finally returned back to Australia mid August and i have been to Sharkeys here on the coast and am taking the herbs

as yet we cannot afford IVF etc so arent even thinking in that direction

its been a long journey for me and its been up (with the 1st + HPT) and down (everything else before and after that!)

just here for support and maybe to help others since i have been on the TTC boat a long time and think have felt every emotion one can feel during this stressful ride

I am however always hopeful and hope is all i have left now, i will not give up until i have my bundle of joy:fingerscrossed:

Hi fefe

Thanks for sharing your story, its certainly been a long road for you. You should come over to the rollercoaster thread, there are some amazing ladies and a huge amount of support. Im another unexplained one though I did manage to have a DS which is our little miracle boy so I know im very lucky. Still would love a second but there just seems to be no answers as to why we cant have one, would just love to see inside my body for a month or two and see where its all going wrong. Anyway welcome to the site, I really hope you get a beautiful sticky bfp soon.

hi fefe76 you have to love that term unexplained seems to cover we don't know what to do with you quite nicely

i would give iui a go its a lot cheaper than IVF each of our cycles cost less than $100 once we reached the safety net

other thing that may be worth trying is acupuncture or the Chinese herbs path if you have not already done so
