View Full Version : Anything in WA?
I am struggling finding anything in WA. Most agencies I have contacted are in Eastern States or even O/S. Does anyone know of anywhere in WA worthwhile?
Thanks all :)

nah...its rubbish in Perth!! i paid $80 for some pics for DS at Spiers, the only one that really I found that dealt with babies and Im sure they just do it so IF BY ANY CHANCE they need some babies they have got some to offer some clients. That was 6mths ago and havent heard a thing. I did ask them realistically how much work there was in WA and they mentioned a few names but it was nothing big like Target or Myer like Eastern States agencies would get. You have to send them in a photo and if they think they want you on their books they get you in for the photos. I never had high hopes in the beginning so Im not overly disappointed

hi,
i work for Scene Models in Perth. There isn't much work in Perth for children, especially babies. My daughter has had a few jobs, she is now 4, but some of them she got thru me as I still model and others she had to cast for. She was with spiers for a while, which still seem to be the best for young ones, but it is worthwhile giving them a call every 4 weeks or so to remind them...Al of target catalogues etc are shot in melbourne. Barrymores clothing shoots over here for different labels and it was just right place/age and look at the right time that my friends daughter got booked for vogue/peter rabbit! very rare though. My daughter was in studio bambini mag but that was thru a shoot at barrymores for kip and co. At our agency we encourage the children to come and do some classes modelling or acting so we get to know them and it keeps them fresh in our minds for when jobs come up. We have 300 students from 3-18yrs and i put alot of my students forward for jobs whenever there is something suitable for them....hope this helps.:ecomcity:
