Hi I am new to this and I would love to chat to parents out there about the highs and lows of parenting. I ahve two children, Seamus 2 years and Lachlan 4.5 months. Lachlan is giving me a hard time at the moment and I a have no idea what is wrong with him, I feel like the worlds worst Mum.
Hope to hear from someone.

Welcome to Bub Hub!!! Dont worry hun we all feel like that sometimes:hugs: . You are not the worlds worst mum.:)
Dont worry too much. We all have our bad days. :hugs: Just take it easy and give ur self a break from time to time so the kids wont drive u nuts.
I remember a chart given by the nurse with babies' sunny and stormy periods. When u look at it it's mostly stormy...hahah..I still dont know how i survive those 5 hrs sleep a day.:p

Hi and welcome!
You've heard this 100 times but I'll say it again.. YOU are not the worlds worst mum! But I understand how you feel, its horrible to feel so hopeless at something thats supposed to come so naturally.. but even the best have those days.. weeks.. months! :hugs:
As for your thread, many have replied and referred to terrible twos (I too have been through that difficult time this past year when your loving cuddly baby turns into a restless terror who says he doesn't love you if you don't buy him a chuppa chup! :( )
But you've mentioned Lachlan (4.5mo) is the one giving you a hard time. Is it due to teething, introducing solids, bottles, night-feeds or that dreaded 5-letter word.... S L E E P ?
This time was a long time ago for me, and one I seem to have suffered memory-loss (maybe due to intense loneliness and severe sleep-deprivation).. and I don't know if I could be much help..
Could others pls be more specific towards little Lauchlan?
SAMMYEDDY, surround yourself with friends and support.. and I'm sure there are plenty of shoulder's to "lean" on here - hence why I signed up.. today! Hehehe..

hello and welcome to bubhub  .
i hope things get better for you and for lachlan. they do go through phases where nothing seems to help. my dd was the most unsettled baby for the first 2 months now at 11 months she is an angel, but it was rough for a while there. remember things do get better. if you need to talk feel free to pm or email me.
