As the title asks, how do you dry your nappies? Also what kind are we talking?

We use terry flats most of the time, Greens at night & when showing them off

I use terry flats and I dry mine on the clothesline. But if it is under 10 degrees, then I use the dryer as I refuse to stand outside in that weather.

I said a bit of everything because during winter our back courtyard gets little to no sun so we have to use the dryer but i also dry some on an airer in the house when i can.
During summer its the clothes line for us & i love it this way as all the stains dissappear !
I cant wait to de-stain my lot now lol !
We use a combo of pockets & terry flats in the Eenees :D

I just line dry in the sun, although I dream of the day I get my dryer. Everything just takes so long to dry in winter!

My stains never disappear outside, even if I leave them there for a week, lol.

I dry my fitted nappies & pocket nappies on the little air dryer outside in the sun but mostly use the clothes dryer for the inserts. There isnt enough space on the air dryer to put all the inserts and Im waaaaaay too lazy to walk out the back and use the clothes line.

Sun or outside.

I use the dryer to fluff them up when they get a bit stiff.

This is where I get reminiscent of the days when I lived in QLD! To do a load of washing, in the winter, hang it out and bring it all in dry on the same day......:p

My clothes line is under the veranda, so I put as many nappies as will fit on a couple of airers in the sun, and the rest on the line. If I'm sick / in a hurry / lazy, I use the dryer :)

I only ever dry in the dryer if its been raining. And then I put my pockets on an airer. I'm too scared to put them in the dryer, my flats go in the dryer tho.

I was too scared to put my beautiful nappies in the dryer too - but my laziness won over my fear

Bit of everything...If I wash in the morning they go out in the sun. If I wash at night they go on the airer in the dining room, then I move that out into the sun in the morning to finish them off. If I need to use a dryer then I send DH to the laundromat, it's the only time I can get him to help with the washing

I said a bit of everything.... I am using Baby Beehinds Bamboo fitted nappies and where our clothes line is it only receives the sun for a couple of hours in the morning... so this is how I do it!

Set my washing machine to start early hours (I have a delay option on my machine) so that by the time I get up (usually between 6 or 7am) I can hang them out on the clothes line. Come lunch time (usually around 1ish) I transfer them to the clothes airer and have that outside my front door (getting the afternoon sun) and then I usally put them in the dryer around 5ish to fluff them up and to make sure they are dry. They are usually only in there for about 90minutes on warm....

I prefer to hang mine on the line in the sun......but I'll do whatever I have to to get them dry, so often that is a bit of everything. Usually only in the dryer if it has been raining.

We dont have a dryer nor a clothesline (renovation nightmare) so I have to air dryer all my clothes as well as nappies. This is a logistical washing nightmare but we are into a routine now after 6 months. Now in winter I bring the air dryer into the lounge room and they dry due to the air conditioner being on!:smiliedance:

I do a bit of everything, probably use the dryer just over 50% clothes rack inside 30% and line dry 20% regardless of weather

I said a bit of everything but it's probably 70% line dry in sun, 29% line dry undercover and 1% dryer when we are away from home and it's just easier.

We need a dryer.
Just for emergencies.
Our clothesline is broken as is the clothes horse. The tree fell on them both...

My line is out in the middle of the backyard with full sun on it for most of the day, so totally line dry.

Our line is a useless puny thing so the clothes horse gets a work out too. I try to avoid putting any mcn in the dryer. I dont worry about the flats so much though but I try not to use the dryer too much anyway! I cant wait for our new house to be finished- we are going to have a huge washing line down the side of the house. No more folding sheets in half to hang them on the line!

when i did use terry flats i used to dry them outside in the sun as we lived in a hot climate up in fitzroy crossing (WA) and only time that it was hard was when it was raining season in the summer months... took me forever to get them dry..i had to use the clothes airer and put the fan on them! :o

Bit of everything - mostly outside in the sun... if the weather is a bit dodge I may hang on the clothes airer, or I just hang on the line, get them in when it starts raining then put in the dryer!

I use greenkids 90% of the time. I have no choice but to dry them in the sun on the line. Our backyard has no shade at all.

If i get really desperate ill chuck them in the dryer, but i dont like doing this because they tend to smell a bit.

My line is in the shade so I have an airer that I stick out in the middle of the yard with my nappies on so that they get full sun - and therefore nice and clean! With the BBB if they aren't fully dry I either finish them off in the dryer to make them nice and soft, or drape them over the backs of chairs overnight inside to finish off.

I can't dry them outside because our dog will eat them, and inside they don't dry, so I dry them on a heated towel rack.

I dry my BB's on the line, total full sun. If I'm really desperate I throw them in the dryer.

We hang in the sun on the clothesline. The shade comes over around 4.30 but by that stage, all the stain removing and most of the drying has been done.

BTW, we use a mixture of fitteds, pockets, AIO's ad terry flats...

Mainly line dry with dryer use when it's raining.

We have
flats
Keester Kover AIO
HB AIO
BBB
Cute Tooshies
Cuddlebuns
KIC
Bits for Bots
Pixie Pants

Majority are either AIO or fitteds - I don't do pockets

I use the dryer because my neighbour near my clothes line is a creep - if they are stained I get over it and sneak out but run straight back in!

And I use flats and pockets

HoopDeeDoo

Line dry, all the time- we don't have a dryer.
And it doesn't rain.. ok well it is today, but Ariene was born in May, and this is probably the 3rd time she's ever seen the stuff
