I have an assignment due tomorrow that consists of three short essays. The first two have been fine. The last one I'm struggling with.

If anyone can offer anything at all I would really appreciate it!

Ok, I have to discuss Bourdieu's concept of cultural capital. I understand it but I'm struggling to break it down and discuss it.

Can anyone help me break it down - even just a little?

I was thinking of going down the path of - 'it takes a whole village to raise a child' ... Hope that's going to work ...

I knew it was a big ask! :)

I finally got it done. I'm not entirely happy with it. It's very messy but I'm confident it's at least a pass - it will have to do.

I would have suggested adding a thorough explanation on the 'types' of cultural capital - institutionalised, embodied and objectified. However, the 'whole village...' idea is good too.
