hello again,
Went for a test yesterday for prgestrone and it came back at 14 it was taken on day 28 of 35 day cycle is that to low???? i just dont understand as still feeling ovulation pains which i think they are when i get up sharp pain lower stomach !!!!! i just dont know

A progesterone concentration above 20-25 confirms ovulation occurred in that cycle.

14 is low you may want to discuss further treatment

Lower values mean either anovulation or inappropriate timing of the blood test. A low concentration can be checked by taking two measurements of progesterone a week apart in the next cycle or alternatively recalculating the day of testing.

I have seem to have ovulatated after the test so i dont know what the doctor is doing!!!!!!!! Still takin bbt and it has had a rise to 36.8 and today its 36.7 usally my cycle is 35 days so today is day 35 . Does the tempeture have to stay up there for a postive pregnancy?

You can ask for a series of progesterone blood tests through your cycle, I know I had 4 one cycle so that they could monitor progesterone levels after ovulation to see if they were staying high enough to sustain a pregnancy. If your progesterone is dropping too quickly after ovulation you might need progesterone support. Plus if you are unsure on when you ovulate, having a series of blood tests in your 2ww will help know when you are ovulating.
