Can anyone tell me how your body has turned out after your second pregnancy in comparison to your first?
I've lost the weight I gained in my first pregnancy, but DS was quite large for me & I still have a bit of a pouch I'm struggling to get rid of :(
I know that on average your second baby is bigger, so I'm really scared that if we have another my stomach will be ruined for life..
Selfish I know, but I can't help obsessing over it - I'm still paranoid about looking like I did before this bub :(

Hi there,
Just wanted to offer some :hugs:
I am currently pregnant with no.2 so I don't quite know yet myself how a second pregnancy affects your body.
I found after DS though that even though I lost all of my weight, my skin on my lower tummy never went back to normal. It stayed a bit soft and squishy.
I know how worried you must feel, but maybe in a few years you will comfortable enough with yourself to not worry about how a second bub will affect your body.
Big hugs :hugs:
Sorry I couldn't offer much more advice.
Nat :goodvibes:
PS: Don't be so hard on yourself. It's only been 3/4 months since you gave birth!!! It can take longer for things to get back to normal, don't worry yourself over it :hugs:

I have 2 bubs....
Pregnancy 1- I started off underweight for my height and gained 30kg during the pregnancy and coped a whole tummy of stretchmarks. After giving birth to DS1 I lost 25kg to get down the a healthy weight. My tummy appeared flat but was still a little squishy and the stretchmarks made it look a little wrinkly!
Pregnancy 2- I gained 28kg and after gicing birth to DS2 alot of my stretchmarks looked BETTER than b4 I fell pregnant with him. Ive now lost most of the weight I gained during pregnancy 2 and again my tummy is flat, not so wrinkly and that little "pouch" ur talking about had pulled up and just looks like a little crease in my skin!
So from my personal experience my body looks better after 2 pregnancies than it did after 1!

1st pregnancy i started at 45 and gained 20 kilos. by two years i was back to 55
2nd pregnancy started at 60 lost 10 kg then put on 15.. which is still there with a big baby puch but shes only 3 months old.
My body's fairly similar after number 2 as it was after number 1 - not quite like it was pre-baby as there's a bit of sag in my tummy now! I also got varicose veins in my 2nd pregnancy  which I didn't have in my first, although they're almost completely gone now 4 months after birth.
Hi,
After DS I bounced back to my pre-preg body without much effort. I really don't think it was any different except for my boobs:rolleyes:.
DD is now 5 and a half months old and it's taken longer this time. I'd say I've been back to my pre-preg weight for about 8 weeks now. As for my body - I've noticed that my shape is a bit different. Same weight as before - it's just in different places! I seem to have extra fat around my hips which I've never had before. Also, the skin on my belly looks a bit jelly-like in places. I'm hoping that I can remedy that with more exercise. DD has been a bit of a crazy baby:laughing:so I haven't had time to scratch myself, let alone exercise much!
Overall, though, I'm really happy with how my body is post-2nd pg. Don't feel selfish being concerned about it - it's a natural feeling.

Oh hun, there could be hundreds of replies to your post but everyone is DIFFERENT!!
Both pregnancies were about the same for me, although this time I gained a few more stretch marks and a bit of a pouch!
I do however know exactly where you're coming from. I love my 2 girls and would love another baby in the future but am quite paranoid about it making my body any worse. How vain is that?
I'm sure you're a totally yummy mummy and will stay that way!
I feel fat. I don't really feel pregnant apart from being kicked.
With my 1st I lost most of the baby weight instantly it was great.
With my 2nd I gained heaps of weight after she was born, I definately wish i could take those few weeks back. I have saggy gross boobs from breastfeeding for 14 months :(
With this bub I was bigger to start off with and now gaining baby weight doesn't feel like growing a baby it just feels like I am a fat lump. Hoping to get back into shape once he is born so I can feel better about myself.
