I think this is a SHOCKING haircut :banghead: It looks like a blardy helmut. This was done at a specialised kiddy hairdressers in a big shopping centre. I am so mad, my beautiful baby's hair :( She's wrecked it and now all I think I can do is cut the whole lot shorter. All I asked is for her to trim the bits in his eyes and that's it! She just hacked into it, I told her I wasnt happy so she tried to fix it and just made it worse so I just told her that was enough. Am I just being a fuss pot or do you guys think this is a really bad job. Dp thinks its a shocker too, she's just cut it way too short. Argh so wishing I hadnt done it now :(

It is not the best haircut, i will admit.
The good news is hair grows and it won't take long :)

Ummm, it's terrible! I hope you didn't pay for it!

Your little boy is such a cutie, so a bad haircut isn't going to matter:D

Looks pretty dodgy. but its just hair it will grow back.

Did he sit still for it? I can understand if he didnt and it ended up like that but not if he was still lol

Can you go somewhere to try and fix it? I took DD to Stefan, used to be $9.95 when she was under school age, but we haven't been there since then.

Haircuts always look yuck just after they are done. Give it a week or 2 :)
My boys always look silly when they come home from the hairdresser too...I think quietly to myself (oohh yuck, what did he/she do to your hair..lol).

Thanks girls, I'm glad I'm not overreacting then. It cost me 5 bucks. I'm taking him to my mums hairdresser tom morning to fix it, hopefully. I know it will grow but its just upsetting. Plus its his first birthday next week so all photo's are going to be of this dodgy bloody haircut :( And yep sat really still, they had a little tv in front of him with the wiggles...

Damn.. I wouldn't of paid for that.. especially if he sat still whilst having it done, I could understand if it was a bit messed up if he didn't sit still.

But yes it does look very hacked

It won't take long to grow back :)

Doesn't look very good - I think it looks uneven, and very long around the ears! I think I know what they were trying to achieve - a funky modern hair do, but it doesn't look at all right on such a young toddler.

I have been to Hairy Rumours (never ever for me-they did my hair years ago and was not at all happy) but the few times I had been there for DS they had done a good job. Figured it shouldn't be that hard for a little one (and its only $5).

Last time - shocking!! I wanted it rather short, but wow, it looked terrible for a few weeks. It was a different hairdresser, but I asked for the same thing.

Its pretty horrid, Maybe put a tiny bit of gel in it and it might make it alittle better for his birthday.

That cut looks the same as the one my sil gave dd2 the other week it was so uneven and I had pixi fotos a few days later it looked terrible. I did find brushing it to the side with a parting made it look a bit more even tho.

Definitely not a good haircut, but in a few weeks it will be gone.

Thanks ladies, for those that said it looks good I think youre just being nice haha
Hopefully the hairdresser can do something with it tomorrow. I just so didnt want to cut it short, he has the most beautiful hair, we were trying to grow it long :( Hopefully it will grow back fairly quickly

It's a bit of a shocker, but actually I think it's really cute and kind of `mad little boy' looking :D

Your son is really gorgeous Em! Doesn't matter what his hair looks like.

He's a cutie regardless of his hairstyle, but she did cut the fringe a bit too short, relative to the length over his ears. When you take it to get it fixed be sure not to cut any more off his fringe.
Thank goodness hair grows back huh :)

Yeah a bit shabby but maybe a bit of gel could fix it? Your little boy is such a cutie though I don't think it matters! :)

I don't really think its that bad, or that different, it seems to be 'feathered' at the front, which would be far better than a dead straight line. It will grow and fast.

You will have worse to deal with when he chooses to get his own hair done his way when he's a teenager! ;)
