We've been encouraging our 21 month old to get onto the potty. She always comes with us, we read books and talk about it all the time.
So the day before yesterday she wants on! She sat on both the potty and the toilet several times, nappy off and played with toys and read books etc. We talk about doing pee pees and flushing them away too.
Is that all we need to do?!! Never done this before so thought that was a pretty good start!
