I am so over using them. DS is 10.5 weeks old and I am still going through at least two/three pairs a day. I thought you only needed breast pads in the early days... are they ever going to stop leaking?? :hair:

Yes, they will stop leaking but probably only when you stop breastfeeding! Having said that, towards the end of my feeding days (8 months), I would only get leaking when I had a let down from the other side and I could just hold the other nipple and it didn't leak. It is a bit annoying but you're lucky you only have to change them 3 times a day. I had to do it after every feed for 8 months and then I wore them still for a while because I was paranoid that I would leak but I don't think they did...

Mine still leak occaisionally and DS is 5 months old! Usually only in the mornings when they're full, and when Im feeding and get letdown - the other side will leak. It will settle down :) In the meantime, I would suggest some cloth breast pads, they're way more gentle on your skin and much more cost effective if you're using a lot of disposable ones!

From memory, I had to use breast pads for probably about 5-6months after DD1. Was expecting the same this time but the plumbing must be much better, haven't had a single leak.

Ok then, sounds like the leaks are here to stay
Ahhh the joys of it all :D
