Woo Hoo I did it
I got to the Southport Target at 7:45 and joined the line to get in.
I got everything i wanted and put it on Layby and still got out of there and home by 9:00.
I was so impressed at the organisation of the southport Target, they handed out layby forms at the front door for you to fill out yourself and a bag to put all your shopping in. That saved soooo much time for everyone at the layby end.

I am so excited, I felt like it was christmas today!!!

I went to check out things the other day, and they had all the large stuff set up outside the door (swing sets, trampolines etc), and you fill out a form then and they will process it today. :smiliedance: I was so excited, all I wanted was the big swing set, so I didnt have to go in and worry about any crowds :D

Well I had my alarm st for 6.30am this morning and got to Robina at 7.45am and couldn't believe how many people were waiting for the doors to open...

I had to laugh to myself as everyone ran through the doors - you would think they were giving the stuff away..lol, but an hour later I was happily walking out with my trolly loaded to the hilt and a target santa bag over my sholder. I spent $520 in total but got both boys b'day pressies, Christmas pressies and a few b'day gifts for friends.

I've got to admitt I've been on a high all day...nothing better than feeling like you've got some bargins...even though I'll be tearing my hair out trying to find places for everything

Thats the worse thing..tryin to find a spot for it.
We are getting the kids a swing set..but we go away on the 22nd dec...so we were thinking bout putting it up & taking a picture of it. Then give the pic to the kids to show what Santa left at the house. Do you think we should do that or wait till we are home to put it up?

We always have the same problem at xmas time cause we normally go away too.. I'd put the swing set up B4 you go but not let them know what it is.. Just tell them santa has left a special pressie for them at home and take smaller pressies to leave out for Christmas morning.

Ohhhhh I can't wait till Christmas this year.. I get more excited than the boys I think, But it's great as they get older and really get into it :smiliedance: :smiliedance:
