*104 is my lucky number..... af finally arrived!! I'm shocked and amazed and totally exciting that my period has finally arrived!!!! horrrrrah!

day 100 of my first cycle since coming off the pill after about 7 years...
I am disheartened and feel so disapointed in my body.... I also have PCOS, so thats not helping with this either.
We want to start ttc our first child, but how does one do that, when they don't know when and if they ovulate.

So frustrated and wondering when my body will behave... I've just been away on a relaxing weeks holiday and thought that would bring it on for sure, but no.... i've hit 100 days.....

:hissy: i just feel like doing that!!

if you really want to TTC go to a FS and get it sorted out now rather than potentially later

i would not be waiting time with GP's unless you have plenty to waste

once your cycle is sorted you would be well on your way

I share your frustration, I have hit day 60 after coming off the pill which I have taken for around 10 yrs. I am going to see my doctor on Wednesday to see if there is any way I can kick start my system, nice to know that I am not the only one out there having these difficulties though kind of makes me feel quite normal if you know what I mean.

We are going away next weekend which we had planned to be the start of our ttc journey but that doesn't seem to be going to plan.

Oh well fingers crossed something happens soon for us both.

Hi...I just wanted to give you a little glimmer of hope! Although I dont have PCOS, I did have incredibly irregular cycles after coming off the pill in April 08...

I was lucky to get pregnant in the first month off the pill, but lost our bub. Due to having a rubella booster I went back on the pill for three months and when I stopped it again I had a 76 day cycle then fell pregnant next cycle. We unfortunately lost that bub too...

Then I had another long cycle of about 58 days and at day 55 got sick of it and started temping to practice for the next cycle and noticed my temps seemed a little high and decided to POAS and lo and behold I was pregnant!

Good luck to you, I hope you get your cycle sorted soon, I know just how frustrating it is:)

Go to the DR!!!! Get it sorted!!! I went a whole 18 months with no AF!!!!! I went back onto the pill (for contraception) but without that who knows how long it would have taken!!! I have PCOS! I have been TTC for 4 years. 1 year of clomid, and 2 years of IVF! 2 chemical pregnancies and 1 M/C later, my arms are still empty.

You never know what "issues" you will find! :hugs:

Good luck with TTC!!!! make it fun!

:hugs: rainbowbeetle! Definitely know that you are not alone and that you can always find someone on BH who understands and can give you some advice.

I've had a couple of 100+ day cycles - I've now started the process of ultrasound, blood tests, and am seeing a FS next month - it's a bit scary but it is all steps on the way to your Bubba.

I had an ultrasound last week and they could see that it was a couple of days before I O'd (day 95!) - I'd just done a 10 day detox (alcohol and caffeine free, mostly fruit and veges) - I'm not saying that made me ovulate, but it's funny that after so long my body decided to O.

Good luck with it - keep us posted on your progress!
